Dot & Doug Story
Lovingly made by hand in The Cotswolds
Every Dot & Doug piece is thoughtfully designed and handmade in small batches from our Cotswolds studio, with a focus on timeless style, quality craftsmanship and sustainability. By producing in limited quantities, we are able to reduce waste and create childrenswear that is made to last and be treasured for years to come.
We carefully source organic and deadstock fabrics, alongside biodegradable trims, to help minimise our environmental impact. Any excess materials are reused or recycled wherever possible as part of our commitment to conscious production.
As part of our ongoing sustainability journey, we have also introduced a buy-back scheme, allowing customers to return pre-loved Dot & Doug pieces in exchange for credit towards a future purchase. By extending the life cycle of our garments, we hope to encourage a more thoughtful approach to childrenswear and keep beautiful clothing in circulation for longer.
At Dot & Doug, we are committed to responsible production and consciously sourced materials. Our collections are crafted using organic and deadstock cottons, carefully chosen for their quality, durability and lower environmental impact.
We also prioritise the use of biodegradable trims and natural materials wherever possible, including eco natural rubber elastic and wooden buttons, helping us create childrenswear that is not only beautifully made, but kinder to the planet too.
