Today is a very special day for us at Dot & Doug. Not only are we celebrating International Women’s Day, but it also marks our 7th birthday.
Founded by designer Emma Moore in 2019, Dot & Doug was created with a vision to design timeless, eco-friendly childrenswear that is both beautiful and thoughtfully made. What began as a small idea has grown into a much-loved conscious luxury childrenswear brand, known for its charming designs, natural fabrics and commitment to craftsmanship.
Over the years, our mission has remained the same: to create sustainable children’s clothing that children feel comfortable in and parents feel good about choosing.
A Female-Founded Brand
International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate the achievements, creativity and resilience of women around the world. As a female-founded childrenswear brand, this day holds a special meaning for us.
Dot & Doug has always been shaped by women, from its founder and designer to the mothers, grandmothers and families who support small independent brands like ours. Your encouragement, kind messages and thoughtful purchases help make our journey possible.
Supporting female-led businesses helps create a more diverse and creative future for independent brands, and we’re incredibly proud to be part of that community.
Thoughtfully Designed for Childhood
At Dot & Doug, every piece is designed with care. Our collections focus on:
- Natural fabrics such as cotton and wool
- Hand-finished details and embroidery
- Timeless silhouettes that can be worn season after season
- Durable designs made to be passed down
We believe children’s clothing should celebrate childhood, allowing little ones to play, explore and feel comfortable, while also standing the test of time.
Thank You for Supporting Dot & Doug
Running a small independent brand is a journey filled with creativity, passion and plenty of learning along the way. Every order placed, every email opened, and every kind message shared means the world to us.
To everyone who has supported Dot & Doug over the past seven years, thank you.
Today we celebrate women everywhere, the families who support small businesses, and another year of creating beautiful clothing for little ones.
Here’s to the next chapter of Dot & Doug.
