Who is heading out pumpkin picking this half term?
We have decided to get crafty in our household this year instead of opting for traditional carving, it's a great alternative for younger children who might not be able to take part fully in carving! We have gathered some of our favourite pumpkins on Instagram to hopefully inspire you to get crafty this year. Don't forget to tag us in your Halloween makes!
@liddierowl has gone all our this year painting pumpkins. We particularly love the spooky ghosts. This is easy to recreate with paints, and great fun for all ages! You could keep it traditional with spooky patterns or mix it up with some polka dots!
We love this idea from @darlingmama_ who has painted her pumpkins white then used temporary tattoos to decorate! We know all children will love this one! Why not really go all out and decorate the stalk with glitter too!
We love this idea if your not fancying getting all messy with paint, why not build a pumpkin man like @jenny_sharipov This is sure to be great fun! Why not create a Pumpkin Witch for your front porch for the trick or treaters to enjoy!
@sloneslodkimprzeplatane created this adorable fairy house! Carving is needed, although only a little window! A little battery tealight is a great alternative for little fingers, and greenery and sticks can be found out on autumn adventures! Conkers, leaves and sticks galore!
The only issue is I couldn't stop at just one!
@cicely.lilith.and.the.wolfe created these adorable pumpkins from collected leaves. All you need is pumpkins and glue. A great afternoon activity for toddlers.
